Alpine A110S Painted by Felipe Pantone Is An Amazing Past&Future Collision

Alpine’s sports cars are always a massive hit, but try to guess more about the Alpine A110S – this is more than just an excellent car. Though to point out even more popularity the automaker decided to collab with Argentinian-Spanish graffiti artist Felipe Pantone. Three of the A110S models hand-painted by Pantone in white, red, and blue graphics over the beautiful black foundation.

The artist stated that his idea in delivering this specific A110 was to evoke a different sense of ultradynamism. "Visual speed is something that I have been investigating for years now and that I feel it really comes together on this car, emphasizing its brilliant design with a fast, technological look, " said Pantone.

If you have a little bit of graphics experience, you will know that these models have a pixelated look due to the blue and red rectangles of varying shades. He was so thoroughly on his designing that even the brake calipers got their own color scheme - blue units upfront and red ones at the rear.

The rear flanks evoke a feeling of motion and racing imposed by the white stripes along the sides and the checkerboard pattern. They're also green pixels that would resemble the old concept of a digital screen. Pantone did a great job in creating the perfect bridge combining the analog past and the digitized future with neon gradients, geometric shapes, optical patterns, and jagged grids.

The Pantone version of the Alpine 110S is offered for sale at the price of $152,000 USD (€125,000) which compared to the $75,000 regular A110S price makes you wonder if it’s more of a collection piece since no upgrades were done to the performance upgrades. You can see the beauty at the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix.
