All 500 Units Of The New Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA Have Been Sold

For the new Giulia GTA super-saloon, Alfa Romeo has revealed that it has taken the final order; all 500 cars have been reserved. The firm claims the new Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is now a collector's car, but it also says that it will maintain the reservations list active in case of any cancelations.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is the carmaker's most powerful road car, and it's also the most costly, starting at €176,500 for the regular model and €181,500 for the GTA version. The limited-edition 8C Competizione supercar was £112,000 when it was produced in 2010.

With a yellow-and-red paint scheme inspired by the 1971 European Touring Car Championship winner, Alfa Romeo's Centro Stile design team created a selection of different liveries. Trophy White, Montreal Green, and GTA Red are standard hues.

The classic GTA nameplate has been reintroduced to represent the new car's lightweight design and performance capability. Alfa called the car's unveiling "a historic comeback" and a return to performance automobile building.

A titanium Akrapovic exhaust and adjustments to the engine's tuning allow the GTA's output to rise from 503-hp to 533-hp, reducing the 0-62 mph sprint time to 3.6 secs and enhancing the max speed to 191 mph. They're said to give the car a distinct sound.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA loses 100 kg in weight thanks to a carbon-fiber hood, top panel, front bumper, front wheel arches, back arch inserts, and driveshaft. Because of its custom suspension and 50 mm larger front and rear tracks, the GTA is said to perform better in turns than the Quadrifoglio.
