Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale - the beauty of love!

The car you're seeing now is a retuned Dodge Viper, transformed by Zagato and called Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale. This car came as a tribute to the 2010 Alfa Romeo 100 years anniversary and was meant to be presented in the 2011 Villa d'Este Concours.

The whole story of this car began in 2009 when the TZ3 Corsa "one-off" model managed to win the Design Award in the contest mentioned above.

These two cars have lots of things in common, but also big-time differences. First of all, while Corsa is a circuit car, in a neo-classic style, Stradale comes as a design concept, in an Avante-Grade style. Both cars constitute tributes paid to certain cases, Corsa is meant to show gratitude to the Alfa Romeo and Zagato racing patrimonies, while Stradale represents the legal patrimonies of these two entities. The latter has been produced in only 9 copies.

Corsa is dedicated to people and cars like Scuderia Ferrari, Autodelta or Scuderia Zagato, while Stradale celebrates RLSS, 1500, 1750, 2300,  2900 Zagato, SZ, SZ 2,600, Giulia TZ, Junior Z or S.Z. și R.Z.

TZ3 Stradale was built based on a Viper ACR, with a mechanic chassis and a carbon-fiber body. TZ3 Corsa has a carbon fiber body, as well, powered by a mid V8, with a capacity of 4.2 liters.

Both of them have K-tail layouts, which became pretty popular along with the Coda-tronc bodies.
