Earlier this week, Abarth unveiled a new version of the 695 that pays respect to the brand's racing achievements. Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally commemorates the rally legend's final official race, which took place 40 years ago.

The Abarth 131 Rally was introduced in 1976 for Group 4 competition and competed in the World Rally Championship for 6 years, winning 18 worldwide rallies, 3 World Constructors' Championships, and 2 FIA Cup for Rally Drivers titles, and a World Drivers' Championship with Walter Rohrl.

Since the 695 Tributo 131 Rally honors a long-standing tradition, Abarth has equipped it with a motor that produces 177 horsepower and 184 lb-ft from its T-jet 1.4-liter engine. There is a 6.7-second time for the automobile to reach 62 mph, with a maximum speed of 140 mph.

The front brakes use Brembo four-piston calipers and 305 mm discs, while the rear brakes have 240 mm vented discs. Furthermore, the Koni FSD shock absorbers on both axles, as well as the very wide spoiler at the rear, aid in cornering.

The Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally takes design cues from the automobile and applies them to its own distinctive style. A current version of the original's color is a new three-layer shade called Blue Rally. Conversely, the roof, pillars, and parts are coated in Scorpion Black. It is available in Rally Blue or Record Grey for individuals who want a single-tone car. Abarth also includes an Alcantara dash and Sabelt cloth seats with blue stitching on the inside. The price information for the new Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally is still forthcoming.
