A weird toy on three or four wheels...?

This creation can seem a tricycle, but actually has four wheels. The rear ones join in an assembly in order to allow an exhilarating acceleration and a very good control. Very remarkable is the broad profile of the tires, specific for cars and not for motorcycles.

Genetically speaking, the 555TES Minute S inherits from Yamaha the engine of 250 cc, which the Japanese use in their own line of motorcycles and ATVs. From Toyota, the model inherits the Hybrid Synergy Drive technology used throughout all their hybrid automobile line. The toy from the picture has released at the Tokyo Motor Show earlier this year, but did not make too many waves. It has a structure made up from pieces and the interested clients can purchase them from the manufacturers, although there is no intension of creating a series production. Beyond the aggressive look, the performances are not as spectacular - the maximum speed recorded in the tests was only 80 kmph, but for the city, this is a sufficient speed.

Moreover, because it is a hybrid car, the consumption doesn`t exceed 2.7 l/100 km. The maximum power is 56 HP (42 kW) and the maximum of torque - 167 Nm. The little tricycle promises not only an economic and practical city driving, but also an enthusiastic one.
