Rolls-Royce has introduced two special Phantom and Dawn cars for a couple from California who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.

The first of the pair is a limited-edition Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus, one of only 20 produced by the British automaker. It was created for Glenn L. Moss Sr. and is painted in Crystal over Arctic White, a color combination chosen to “represent the brightness and boundless aspect of time in their marriage.”

The illuminated treadplates display, "Phantom Tempus Collection - Hand-built in Goodwood England for Glenn L. Moss Sr." when the door is opened. With hand-crafted Arctic White leather offset by black accents, piping, and contrast stitching, the interior closely resembles the stunning exterior.

The couple's second vehicle arrives in the form of a custom Dawn Black Badge customized for Gigi Moss. It comes with the Bespoke Aero Cowling and is coated in Crystal over Bright Red. The Spirit of Ecstasy is made entirely of high-gloss carbon fiber, with dark chrome accents on the front grille, exhaust pipes, and air inlets. 22 layers of carbon fiber were also used to make the wheels.

Inside, some treadplates write, "Hand built in Goodwood England for Gigi Moss," as well as genuine grain leather with black inserts and piping.

Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös remarked: "The Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus is a motor car for people who make the world as they seek their own place in this world. They recognize that we are all given time, regardless of our specific gifts, talents, or opportunities, and it is up to us to make the most of every magical moment. Phantom Tempus is a place where the constraints of time no longer apply, as evidenced by the lack of a clock.”

The outside world, with all of its pressures and demands, is forgotten by Rolls-Royce customers. We congratulate Glenn and Gigi Moss on their anniversary, as well as on these two stunning Rolls-Royces that were commissioned to celebrate the occasion.”
