Suzuki Just Made One of India's Best-Selling SUVs Even Better

For years, the Brezza has quietly been one of Suzuki's strongest sellers in India, even if it rarely gets the same attention as the Jimny or Vitara. Rather than reinventing the formula, the automaker focused on improving the areas that matter most. The result is a refreshed SUV with more engine options, upgraded technology, and a stronger list of safety features.
The biggest addition is a new 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbocharged mild-hybrid engine. It develops 109 hp and 125.4 lb-ft of torque and comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.

The familiar 1.5-liter mild-hybrid engine stays in the lineup with 102 hp and 101 lb-ft. Buyers can pair it with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Suzuki also updated the S-CNG model with a redesigned 55-liter CNG tank and a new six-speed manual gearbox.

A closer look reveals several styling updates. The front end now features a redesigned bumper, a cleaner grille, and fresh aluminum-look trim. Two new paint options, Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige, expand the color palette. Buyers who want a different look can choose from three factory styling packages. The Turbo Package adds red accents, the Terrascape Package brings rugged body cladding, and the Metroscape Package delivers a cleaner city-focused appearance.

The cabin receives just as much attention. A new brown-and-black interior gives the SUV a richer feel, while the infotainment display grows to 10.1 inches. Higher trims add ventilated front seats, a 64-color ambient lighting system, an Arkamys sound system, a sunroof, an air purifier, and a cooled wireless charging pad.

Suzuki also strengthened the ADAS package with Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Exit Support Warning, and an upgraded 360-degree camera. The upgraded 2026 Suzuki Brezza remains an India-only model, with prices starting at ₹739,900 ($7,700) for the new turbo variant and reaching ₹1.37 million ($14,200) for the flagship version.
