2026 Nissan Rogue Gets Blacked-Out Dark Armor Trim And More Tech Features
by AutoExpert | 30 July, 2025
The 2026 Nissan Rogue is officially here, bringing a few nice updates and a fresh new trim aimed squarely at trend-conscious buyers. While the base model gets a small price bump (starting at $28,790, or just $200 more than last year), the big headline is the debut of the all-new Dark Armor edition.
This new trim is built on the mid-range SV model and fully embraces the blackout look that’s so popular right now. You get gloss black mirror caps, pillar trim, badging, and a sleek black grille. Satin black roof rails and gloss black 19-inch wheels round out the dark-themed makeover.

Inside, the Dark Armor edition adds a few welcome extras like heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic moonroof. You’ll also get Nissan’s HD Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, which boosts both convenience and safety.
The Rogue SV trim also now offers a Cold Weather Package, which includes the same heated front seats and heated steering wheel.

Interestingly, some earlier rumors didn’t quite come true. While it was expected that the SL trim would lose its Premium Package, the top-tier Platinum still offers a Tech Package with Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist 2.1 semi-autonomous driving tech. Also, the Rock Creek version didn’t get a price cut. Instead, it’s gone up by $200 to $33,690.
No matter which version you choose, all 2026 Nissan Rogues are powered by the same 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine. It puts out 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, paired with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT. Fuel economy remains impressive, topping out at 32 mpg combined. Meanwhile, the Platinum trim is now sold exclusively with all-wheel drive.
