Mini Just Turned the Cooper S Into a Style-Heavy Red Line Special

Mini has introduced the 2026 Red Line Edition, basically a Cooper S 4-Door with a bit more edge.
On the outside, it plays with contrast. Legend Grey Metallic, a color usually seen on JCW models, mixed with Chili Red accents and black 17-inch wheels. It also gets JCW sport brakes, so it’s not just about looks.

The JCW Style Package comes as standard, so it already looks the part. You get a sharper body kit with front winglets, a rear spoiler, and a diffuser, plus JCW decals, a tow strap, and a Red Line badge so there’s no confusion about what it is.
Inside, it leans more into style than anything extreme. Black Vescin sport seats with red accents, unique headrests, and a JCW steering wheel set the tone.

It is based on the Iconic Trim with the Comfort Package Plus, so equipment is not an issue. Heated seats, dual-zone climate, a 9.4-inch screen, augmented reality navigation, wireless charging, and a Harman Kardon system are all part of the deal.
Under the hood, it uses the same 2.0-liter turbo four with 201 hp and 221 lb-ft (299 Nm), paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch. It does 0–60 mph in 6.5 seconds and tops out at 150 mph (241 km/h). Quick enough, just not wild.

Pricing starts at $43,365 before a $1,175 destination fee. Meanwhile, the two-door JCW starts at $38,900. So yeah, it looks good and comes loaded, but you are definitely paying for the style.
