2026 Fisker Pear: A Masterpiece In Automotive Design

The Fisker Pear is, without a doubt, one of the brand's most anticipated vehicles. The electric crossover is expected to make its debut around mid-2025, and it's causing quite a buzz thanks to its attractive starting price of $29,900.

The Fisker Pear sports a modern appearance with its compact body, sizeable wheels, distinctive split headlights, sweeping wraparound windshield, solar panels on the roof, and eye-catching LED taillights. Fisker assures us that the final production model will look pretty much the same, except for the possible addition of mirror-replacing cameras, which they're still considering.

One cool feature is the "Houdini" trunk, where the tailgate magically disappears into the rear bumper. This design makes it much easier to access the cargo area. Fisker promises that the trunk's operation will be a lot quicker in the production version, and there's more storage space up front in what they playfully call the "froot" (front boot), which you can opt to have insulated for transporting food or drinks.

Now, let's step inside the pear. Its interior showcases a clean and straightforward layout that is not only cost-efficient but built to last. You'll have a choice between a 5-seater or 6-seater layout, with both configurations sporting two rows of seats. The dashboard features a spacious tray and a compact infotainment touchscreen right in the center, which also doubles as a digital instrument cluster. If you want to level up, there's an optional 17.1-inch rotating display.

Fisker is also offering a "Lounge Mode" that folds all the seats flat, creating a big space for relaxing or entertainment. It's worth noting that the materials used in the cabin are eco-friendly, being recycled and bio-based, making the Pear quite an environmentally conscious choice.

Under the skin, the Pear sits on a steel chassis. It boasts 35% fewer components compared to a typical EV of its size. You'll be able to get it in RWD or AWD versions, although they haven't disclosed specific power figures just yet. The AWD version can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds, but here's the kicker: they're also working on an "Extreme" variant that'll be even quicker.

When it comes to range, Fisker is giving you two battery options, offering distances of 180 miles and 320 miles. Depending on the configuration, you're looking at an estimated range between 199 and 348 miles, according to the WLTP tests.

Here's a technological highlight: the Pear will introduce Fisker's high-performance computer, called the Fisker Blade. This clever piece of tech is modular, upgradable, and packs a punch with up to 6.2 TFLOPs of computing power. It's designed for efficiency and rock-solid security against cyber threats. All the vehicle systems connect to it through a multi-gigabit internal Ethernet network, allowing for efficient diagnostics.

So, what's next? Fisker is planning to showcase a production-intent version of the Pear in Munich, Germany, from September 4–10. The first deliveries are expected in July 2025.
