The 2025 Kia Sportage is bringing a fresh twist to its South Korean lineup, with a facelift that mixes style, tech, and new comfort-focused tweaks. The biggest change you’ll spot is up front, where redesigned headlights drop the usual boomerang-shaped DRLs in favor of an elongated lighting signature that stretches across a more vertical cluster setup.

The updated front bumper and grille patterns now vary by trim, adding a bit of individuality to each version. At the back, while the taillights keep their size and shape, they now sport new inner graphics, and the bumper has a subtle refresh.

New paint colors—Wolf Gray and Heritage Blue—join the lineup, along with updated alloy wheels that go up to 19 inches. Inside, the updates get more interesting. A 12.3-inch curved infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster of the same size now grace the cabin. The new air vents and increased ambient lighting bring a warm, sophisticated vibe.

Physical controls are still abundant. There’s also a cool new Lounge Brown interior option, complete with a strikingly designed, colorful steering wheel. For tech, Kia has packed in a new head-up display and a camera on the steering wheel that monitors the driver’s attention and hand position.

There’s even a fingerprint scanner for secure access, and the Hyundai Tucson’s Baby & Toddler mode makes an appearance—automatically smoothing acceleration for extra comfort when kids are on board. Kia also worked to refine the Sportage’s quietness and ride feel, adding more soundproofing and tuning up the dampers on the front axle.

Mechanically, the 1.6-liter turbo engine ditches its old seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for a smoother eight-speed automatic, while the hybrid version is getting a slight power boost to match the 2025 Tucson.
