For the 2025 model year, Ford has upgraded the Bronco Sport with the addition of a brand-new Sasquatch package. The Sasquatch option, which is available for the Badlands and Outer Banks trim levels, enhances the already impressive off-road capability of the beloved SUV.

To start with, the Sasquatch package upgrades the tiny SUV's wheels to larger 29-inch Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires with dimensions of 235/65/R17. In the event that your off-road escapades do not go according to plan, you can rely on the new rubber, steel bumpers, and more underbody protection to get you back on the road.

In terms of mechanical changes, the 2.0-liter Badlands now share the 1.5-liter Bronco Sport Outer Banks Sasquatch's locking rear differential and twin-clutch rear drive unit. With the Badlands' new springs, you get an extra 0.4 inches of ground clearance. With the Sasquatch package, you will also get Bilstein rear shocks equipped with position-sensitive dampers and piggyback reservoirs.

This will extend the rear suspension to 8.7 inches, a 0.6 inch increase. Along with improved gear holding, throttle responsiveness, and steering feel, the new Rally G.O.A.T. driving mode is available on the Badlands and Sasquatch trims.

In addition to the usual all-wheel drive, the 2025 Bronco Sport now has a new Off-Road G.O.A.T. mode as standard equipment. While the 2025 MY powertrains do include certain updates, they are still only available with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Although it's down 1 horsepower, the turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder now produces 200 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 10 lb-ft over last year. Only the Badlands and Badlands Sasquatch models feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 238 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. That's 12 horsepower less than the previous version.

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport mostly keeps its classic look, but it now offers new wheel designs and modular bumper points for accessories. The Badlands and Sasquatch trims also have front fender tie-downs for easier rooftop gear storage.

Inside the cabin, the bigger 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen and the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are now standard on all 2025 Ford Bronco Sport models. Additionally, Ford incorporated a removable passenger grab grip in the center console, which is easily and quickly replaceable with the "Bronco Bolts."

In November, dealers in the United States will begin stocking the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport in the Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands trim levels. It will be the first quarter of 2025 before the Sasquatch models follow. Prices for the Outer Banks Sasquatch and the Badlands Sasquatch will be announced closer to the launch, but you should anticipate paying roughly $40,000 and $45,000, respectively.
