The 2024 Kia Soul is getting a little makeover to keep things interesting. They've thrown in some neat updates that add a bit of flair to the lineup. Picture this: brand-new 18-inch alloy wheels and a cool Umber interior option, complete with comfy cloth and artificial leather seats.

And here's the tech twist: models with the smart key system now have a sleep mode. It kicks in around 40 seconds after locking the car to help keep those smart keys safe from potential hackers. The real spotlight moment is the fresh Designer Package, exclusively available for the Soul EX model.

Starting with the base model, things are pretty straightforward with non-LED lighting and trusty 16-inch steel wheels. Inside, you've got the essentials covered, including air conditioning, a solid six-speaker audio setup, and an 8-inch infotainment system that's best buddies with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The price? It starts at just $19,990.

Moving on to the $23,590 Soul GT-Line, this one's the sporty cousin. Gloss black accents, a center-mounted exhaust, and those larger 18-inch alloy wheels amp up the style factor. Inside, it's got a bit of pizzazz with cloth and artificial leather seats, a sunroof, illuminated sun visors, and a steering wheel wrapped up in leather goodness.

For those aiming high, the 2024 Kia Soul EX kicks off at $24,290. It might tone down the sporty vibes, but they've thrown in heated front seats and a set of classy 17-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood, no matter which Soul you go for, you're getting a trusty 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine churning out a decent 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. It's all managed by a variable transmission that helps the Soul achieve some pretty good numbers: up to 29 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway, and a combined 31 mpg.

Now, let's talk safety. The Soul doesn't mess around. They've thrown in a bunch of driver assistance goodies, including Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist and Rear Occupant Alert. Safety first, right?
