2023 Cadillac Lyriq EV Pricing Disclosed With Reservations Starting In September

Cadillac will start taking reservations for the 2023 Lyriq on September 18th at 4 p.m. EDT, kicking off the brand's electrified era. 2023 Cadillac Lyriq EV, which starts at $58,795, will be built on the Ultium platform and have a 100 kWh battery system that will let it go more than 483 km (300 miles) on a full charge.

The typical XT5 user only rides 64 km (40 miles) each day, according to Cadillac, thus the Lyriq has plenty of range for them.

Per each hour of charging, a regular 12 V outlet may provide around 5.6 km (3.5 miles) of endurance. With a properly installed 240V 19.2 kW AC / 100A special charging station, this climbs to 84 km (52 miles) per hour.

Owners can take advantage of the Lyriq's 190 kW DC quick charging capacity while away from home. It can provide a range of 122 km (76 miles) in as little as 10 mins. Drivers can enjoy a range of up to 314 km (195 miles) after 30 mins.

While those are impressive specs, there is one major caveat: the car will only be available in back wheel drive at release. The Lyriq's appeal may be limited as a result, although its single electric engine is predicted to produce 340 hp (255 kW / 345 PS) and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque.

Cadillac hasn't divulged all of the crossover's features, but it will come equipped with 20-inch wheels and available in Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic body colors. LED lighting elements, electronic key technology, and a large 33-inch LED display are among the other attractions.

Customers will be able to purchase a 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system and also the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system. 2023 Cadillac Lyriq EV will enter manufacturing in the first quarter of 2022, with deliveries beginning in the first half of the following year.
