2022 Porsche Models 718 Boxster, Cayman Have Increased Prices

2021 is not bringing only new concepts, long-awaited cars, or restomods vehicles on the automotive market. Porsche 718 Boxster roadster and Cayman coupe just announced that there will be a price increase for its next year models. By expensive we mean price increase range between $600-$700 for the Porsche's entry-level sports cars and $2,500 for its top-end versions climb.

The plentitude of Porsche options Porsche should have their impact o the prices above. Still, buying a car with specific colors is an option worth paying for. So far, were made public two colors of Frozen Berry Metallic - one of the $650 metallic choices, and Shark Blue – presented as the new special color which costs up to $2,580.

New prices were announced. For the 718 Cayman, the price starts at $61,850 with the destination fee included where we can calculate the exact amount of $600 increase. Meanwhile, we get the 718 Boxster is sold for $63,950, which has the same difference. As before, the base cars are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four making 300 horsepower and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The Boxster T version, offered by the automaker as a sportified version features a base roadster powered by a 300-horsepower engine, will cost you up to $73,050, which is $700 more. Different prices were registered for the Cayman S models at $73,850 and the Boxster S for $75,950, with the same $600 increase. All the 2022 S models bring along a larger, 2.5-liter turbo-four with 350 horsepower bonuses.

Both Boxter and Cayman versions share the same flat-six GTS 4.0 engine versions of the Boxster and Cayman, which were initially new additions for 2021. The initial prices announced previously at the official launches were also increased from, $88,150 to$90,250 for the Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0, and for its Boxster companion, the price was risen up by $2,100 from the initial $88,750.

Also, the listed increased prices show the Boxster Spyder and Cayman GT4 with $1,000 more, for 2022 from $98,650. While the 25 Years Anniversary edition marked by the same model Boxster will cost you in 2022 $2,500 more, being sold for $101,450.
