There are two limited editions of the GT-R Premium Edition T-spec and the GT-R Track Edition Engineered by Nismo T-spec that Nissan has revealed for the Japanese market. 2022 Nissan GT-R T-spec will also be offered in North America this winter in extremely limited numbers, according to Nissan.

From the Japanese-spec GT-R onwards, it will be available in the second half of the month. Buyers will be chosen by ballot for the T-spec variations, which will be constructed in 100 units. In addition to the carbon-ceramic brakes, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and a version-specific engine cover, the basic 2022 Nissan GT-R is accessible in two new colors: Midnight Purple and Millennium Jade.

When it comes to pricing, the Premium Edition T-spec starts at 15,904,900 Yen (about $144,595) and is differentiated by its larger, forged Rays alloy wheels painted in bronze. Interior decorating and suspension configuration are also exclusive to this model.

The NISMO T-spec Track Edition features a redesigned roof and trunk lid constructed of carbon fiber for weight reduction, as well as tons of Nismo awesomeness. This model is the most costly, with a starting price of 17,881,600 Japanese Yen ($162,565). To put this into perspective, the cheapest 2022 Nissan GT-R in Japan costs 10,828,400 Japanese Yen ($98,444), while the normal NISMO-engineered Track Edition starts at 14,636,600 Japanese Yen ($132,065).

Soon after Nissan Japan unveiled its new version of the 2022 Nissan GT-R, Nissan US stated that it would offer a new version of the GT-R T-spec in North America, which will be offered in the colors Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple. There was a limited-edition version of the Millennium Jade available on a limited run R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür before, but this is its debut on the US market.

You can tell that it's a T-spec because of the bigger front bumper and the 20" Forged Aluminum Alloy wheels from Rays. Other features include the carbon-ceramic brake system and the rear spoiler made of carbon fiber. There are more logos inside, as well as a Mori Green color choice, as well as semi-aniline leather-appointed upholstery with pearl suede details and a quilted Alcantara headliner.

As for the powertrain, it's the VR38DETT twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 with 565-hp (421.5 kW/572 PS) and 633 lb-ft (467 Nm).  Due to the ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, power is delivered through a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox to all four wheels.

2022 Nissan GT-R

T-spec Nissans will be offered in North America this winter in a "very limited number of vehicles" for $138,490 each. GT-R T will join the GT-R NISMO 2022, which is a special edition of 300 cars that have already sold out.
