The facelifted Jeep Compass has recently arrived in Australia, and it features many of the same improvements as the revised European and Chinese models. The new Compass stands apart from the previous edition thanks to a redesigned exterior design.

There are new LED daytime running lights and a wider skid plate, as well as tweaked LED headlights and a new three-dimensional effect integrated into the seven-slot grille. The fog lights have been rearranged with new LED  running lights and a three-dimensional effect inserted into the seven-slot grille. Down Under, there are three various trim options to choose from. The Compass Launch Edition and Compass Limited have black bumpers and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the sportier S-Limited features metallic grey finishing, body-color bumpers, and 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

A Trailhawk model has been added to the local lineup, with a unique grille, body-color fog lighting bezels, a larger skid plate, and unique 17-inch alloy wheels. To protect them from harm while off-roading, the bumpers, fog lamps, and camera radar are also lifted.

Inside, 2022 Jeep Compass brings a different 10.1-inch Ultra HD touchscreen display with incorporated TomTom navigation and the automaker's Uconnect 5 system. Advanced speech recognition, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging, and several driver profiles are all possible with this system.

A 10.25-inch Ultra HD digital instrument cluster is available on the Limited, Trailhawk, and S-Limited models.

The 2.4-liter ‘Tigershark' four-cylinder engine in most Compass variants produces 173-hp (129 kW) and 169 lb-ft (229 Nm) of torque. The Trailhawk, on the other hand, has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine with 167-hp (125 kW) and 258 lb-ft of torque (350 Nm). Even though the entry-level Launch Edition has a six-speed automatic, both engines are linked to a nine-speed automated system.
