The Sport and Sport line versions of the 2022 Genesis G80 have just been launched in Australia. Since late 2020, Genesis has begun selling the present G80 in Australia, and the lineup has been revised for the 2022 model year. The Sport Line option is now available on the entry-level 2.5-liter vehicle, whereas the full-blown Sport kit is available on the 3.5-liter variant.

To begin, the 2022 Genesis G80 2.5T has a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder motor that produces 300 hp (224 kW) and torque of 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) and powers the rear wheels. Road Preview Electronically Controlled Suspension, stronger brakes with four-piston monobloc front calipers, 20-inch wheels, and improved external and interior style are all included in the Sport Line package.

The 2022 G80 3.5T Sport is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 374 hp (279 kW) and 390 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. This model is available only with all-wheel drive and includes rear-wheel steering, Active Road Noise Control, a Sport+ drive mode, and the same extras as the 2.5T Sport Line.

A revamped front fascia with wider air intakes, a dark chrome front grille, deep chrome accents, and a modified rear bumper with redesigned dual tailpipes are all standard on the Sport Line and Sport versions. The Sport Line and Sport packs for the 2022 Genesis G80 are both priced at AU$6,000 ($4,335).
