Fiat has introduced an improved version of its Fiorino small commercial van for the Brazilian market. The 2022 Fiat Fiorino is based on the local market Uno hatchback, and it has been given a few cosmetic, tech, and drivetrain updates. The 2022 Fiorino's front end has a much more critical look thanks to a reimagined but unfinished bumper.

It has a more traditional grille with Fiat's fresh logo on it. The headlights are also a little different, and the hood is a little more curved. The profile and the back end are the same as the previous model, except for the Fiat logo that is a little smaller.

A new instrument cluster with an LCD screen for the trip computer and an innovative dashboard from the new Fiat Strada pick-up are inside. The Fiorino doesn't have an infotainment screen because it's a budget-friendly car.

Four more storage compartments have been added, making 13 total. The door cards have been changed to make more room for elbows, and the air conditioning system has been improved to make the two-seater cabin 18% cooler in less time.

Hydraulic steering, air-con, a height-adjustable driver's seat, electric windows, remote locking, an alarm, ESC, traction control, Hill Holder, and fog lights come with the car as standard.

Under the hood, there is a new naturally-aspirated 1.4 EVO Flex engine that can save up to 11.8 % of gasoline or 8.3 % of ethanol. The motor makes a little less power than before. It delivers 84 hp on gasoline, 86 hp on ethanol, and 120 Nm (88.5 lb-ft) of torque.

Power is sent to the front axle through a five-speed manual gearbox that has been altered. There are also some technical changes, like the rear suspension that comes from the Fiat Strada.

The new Fiat Fiorino is already on sale in Brazil for 99,990 Brazilian Real ($17,583). Other Latin American markets will likely be reached soon.
