Despite its age, Chrysler 300 will be back in 2022 and ready to do all it takes to win another game. The fact that Chrysler doesn't have high hopes for the sedan, which yet sticks out from the crowd due to its differences from other models in the sector, comes as no surprise.

This year's improved Uconnect 5 infotainment system, available on the fleet-only 2022 Voyager as well, will not be available on the Touring, Touring L, or Touring S grades. They're also equipped with Chrysler's new air filtration system, which filters 95% of particles in the air. The entry-level model, on the other hand, is unaltered.

Next year, the Touring L will come standard with the $995 Sport Appearance Package, which includes a body-color performance front fascia with Black Noise badges, black pockets in the headlights, LED fog lamps, black LED taillights, black chrome moldings, and 20-inch Black Noise wheels rather than the classic 18-inch aluminum wheels.

The Popular Equipment Group will be commonly available on the 300S next year, a $3,495 choice on the 2021 version. Navigation, a dual-pane sunroof, and Alpine audio with a 506-watt amplifier surround sound, and a sub in the trunk are all included. The $1,995 Comfort Group will remain on the main list next year, with the introduction of a new alarm system to its 15 features.

Before the order books closed this month, Chrysler reduced the number of choices available on the current model year. The exterior colors Amethyst and Canyon Sunset are no longer available, as is the Driver Convenience Group's universal garage door opener.

According to Mopar Insiders, the only inside colors available next year will be Black and Black with Linen, implying that Black Smoke and Radar Red will be discontinued. Models for 2021 will be produced until December. Early next year, the 2022 Chrysler 300 sedans are slated to hit dealer lots.
