Audi has discreetly increased its Q5 portfolio in the United States with the release of the entry-level Q5 40 TFSI quattro. The 2022 Audi Q5 40 TFSI quattro starts at $43,300, which is the same price as the 2021 Q5 45 TFSI quattro. This is before the destination fee, which has increased from $1,095 to $1,195 for 2022.

So, Audi Q5 40 TFSI quattro costs $100 more than its predecessor, the more capable Q5. The engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. It's mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and comes standard with all-wheel drive. The vehicle can speed from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in 6.8 seconds before reaching an electronically regulated max speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).

The 2021 Audi Q5 45 TFSI quattro, on the other hand, has a more powerful 2.0-liter engine with 261 horsepower (195 kW / 265 PS) and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque. The 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time was reduced to 5.7 seconds, and the peak speed was maintained at 130 mph (209 km/h). The Q5 45 TFSI quattro is still available for 2022, although the starting price has increased by $2,500 to $45,800.

Returning to the Audi Q5 40 TFSI quattro, it comes well fitted with LED lighting components, a power liftgate, and 18-inch all-season wheels. The inside features heated leather front seats, brown walnut wood trim, and a tri-zone automatic temperature control system, among other features. A 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch instrument cluster display, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are among the other goodies.

High beam assist, side assist, active lane assist, and parking system plus are among the driver assistance systems available on the entry-level Audi Q5. A rearview camera, and also Pre Sense City, Pre Sense Basic, and Pre Sense Rear, are included.
