Looking forward to expanding In China, Skoda has reconsidered expanding the offerings for China and wants now to stretch the 2021 Skoda Octavia’s wheelbase.

To have a clear distinction for the 2021 Skoda Octavia model for the Chinese market, the automaker renamed it Octavia Pro and the model is for the People’s Republic only. The biggest modification was stretching the wheelbase so that the Octavia Pro has the wheelbase longer by 44 mm and the overall length up by 64 mm. The Octavia Pro is longer than the third-gen Octavia sold in China by 78 mm.

The manufacturer didn’t intervene much on the exterior and left the identical Euro-spec variant, with the headlights, taillights, and grille. The front and rear aprons are inspired by the Sporty Octavia RS which catch the attention with the combined black roof and side mirror caps, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior features a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a permanent internet connection – a normal feature for Chinese customers. The infotainment system can be equipped with an optional 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display.

Amongst previously mentioned features, the customers will also find power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats and the electric tailgate, an exit warning that alerts occupants of other vehicles or cyclists approaching from behind when opening the door, lane-keeping and change assist, lane change, and adaptive cruise control.

The Octavia Pro is powered by a single-engine, 1.4-liter TSI petrol unit delivering 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque coupled to a seven-speed DSG Transmission. If you are a Skoda fan. You might take a trip to China to drive it.
