2021 SEAT Leon Has New Petrol And Diesel Engines Variants For The British Automotive Market

SEAT develops in-house cars and its best-selling model is the Leon, which is now available with new petrol and diesel engines. Leon's features were made especially to fit the United Kingdom customer's demands. 

These special upgrades are available only for the Leon hatch in the FR, FR Sport, XCellence and XCellence Lux trim levels. Powered by the 2.0-liter TSI gasoline unit the Leon would perform out 187 horsepower coupled to a DSG automatic transmission and reach 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in just 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 144 mph (232 km/h).

The new variant of this compact model would start at $39,916 (£28,810) including standard gear with 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, rear tinted windows, ambient lighting, rain-sensing wipers, smartphone integration, and a drive profile selection. SEAT FR Sport variant costs $42,078 (£30,370), 18-inch wheels, heated front seats and steering wheel, and microsuede upholstery included.

The Leon XCellence upgraded version is priced starting at $42,673 (£30,800) and includes 17-inch wheels, keyless entry, electric folding side mirrors, and heated front seats and steering wheel. As for the XCellence Lux is available for $44,308 (£31,980) featuring leather upholstery, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control, and dynamic road sign display.

A SEAT Leon with the new 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine producing 113 horsepower, performing the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 10.5 seconds reaching a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h), but this engine is limited to the SE and SE Dynamic versions for $33,965 (£24,515) and $35,489 (£25,615) respectively.

The SE variant is riding on 16-inch alloy wheels and features LED headlights and taillights, an 8.25-inch infotainment system, and smartphone integration, while the SE Dynamic is improved with 17-inch wheels, tinted rear windows, a 10-inch infotainment system, and digital dials.
