After glowing on the European market, the 2021 Jeep Compass got both subtle styling notes and an upgraded infotainment system for its interior. The updates come as a correction for the exterior cues and the interior's missed spots for the 2021 requirements and rivals.

The automaker wants to keep its shiny spot on the market and after introducing its 4xe variant, Jeep is witnessing its bloom years. Despite being one of the best-selling plug-in hybrids, the model followed subtle updates last year included, offering 187 bhp or 237 bhp depending on the model variant you chose and can give you a 26-mile electric range. More details for the PHEV's specification will be revealed later.

Jeep Compass will be available with optional engines: Fiat-derived 1.3-liter turbo petrol delivering 128 bhp or 148 bhp and the second one being a 1.6-liter diesel producing up to 128 bhp. Along with the customers can choose from the variants between a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, even a dual-clutch automatic gearbox is available. The models come with FWD or four-wheel-drive system.

As mentioned above the main changes on the 2021 models are done to the interior where was installed a new 10.25inch high-definition digital instrument cluster, an instrument cluster, the infotainment touchscreen relocated on right to the middle of the dashboard for improved access. Upgrades were made to the infotainment system with a processor five times faster, connectivity features, smartphone mirroring functionality, voice recognition, and the extra 3D satellite navigation.

Rearranging the center console and adding an extra 4.4 -liters of extra luggage space. Meanwhile, the exterior has more subtle changes, starting with slimmer headlights and restyled bumpers. The updated model should be equipped with Level 2 autonomous functions. Traffic sign recognition, drowsiness alert, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assistance are the bonus features added to the future standard Jeep Compass updated.
