2021 BMW 8-Series Heritage Edition Announced for Australia With Just 9 Units Available

Called Heritage Edition, a limited-run variant of the BMW 8-Series, has just been introduced for the Australian market. The automobile will be offered in Coupe, Gran Coupe, and Convertible body styles, and will be centered on the 840i.

In Australia, only 9 models will be available, each with unique exterior color and interior combo. BMW Individual Frozen Marina Bay Blue color with Merino Black Full Leather, BMW Individual Frozen Dark Silver with Tartufo/Black Merino Leather, and BMW Individual Black paint with Ivory White Merino Leather are the options offered.
A BMW Head-Up Display, Driving Assistant Professional with Active Cruise Control with Stop and Go, and Steering and Lane Control Assistant are all core elements on each of the 9 2021 BMW 8-Series Heritage Edition cars being offered locally. Active Park Distance Control, Reversing Assistant, and 3D view are also available.

Full Merino leather upholstery, Walknappa leather instrument panel and top door trim, active seat ventilation, seat heating, heated armrests, and a 464-watt Harmon Kardon surround audio system are all included in the cabin, along with a unique ‘Edition Heritage – 1/9' logo.

Jet Black 20-inch M light-alloy wheels, red M Sport brake calipers, and M high-gloss Shadow Line trim round out the design. The 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six with 335 hp (250 kW) and 368 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque is sent to the back wheels via an eight-speed Steptronic Sport gearbox since it is built on the 840i.

BMW 840i Gran Coupe Heritage Edition begins at AU$189,900 (US$139,000), with Coupe starting at AU$192,900 (US$141,000), and Convertible at AU$207,900 (US$152,000).
