Dodge is getting ready to write a new page in the brand's history, filed under the glorious come back of Viper. The comeback is materialized under the new 2016 Dodge Viper ACR, the abbreviation standing for the American Club Racer.

The new model brings a tribute to the brand's legacy and, at the same time, it includes significant upgrades, concerning the suspension and aerodynamics, some new ceramic brakes, and further cool details.

2016 Dodge Viper ACR introduces new V720 Kumho Ecsta tires that have been specially conceived for this car. This union of aerodynamic details, suspension improvements, and ACR tires transforms the car into a speed freak. The tires come in sizes of 295/25/19 in front and 355/30/19 in the back. There is an optional Extreme Aero kit, which will take the car's aerodynamics to a whole new level. The brakes feature the Brembo ceramic technology, which improves the car's maneuverability and allows reaching new brake performances.

The interior of the car introduces three audio speakers, handcrafted seats and Alcantara details, with the iconic brand and the ACR abbreviation written on it.

An incredible car like this runs on a full of performance, handcrafted 8.4 liters V10, producing 645 hp at a 600 lb-ft torque. This is the highest torque realized by a naturally aspired sports car engine.

2016 Dodge Viper ACR includes some of the latest technologies in the braking system and aerodynamic technologies, being much more than a legal street race car.

One of these innovations is the electronic stability control that allows the driver to choose between Sport, Track, Full, Rain, and other driving modes.

The suspension kit allows a 3-inch height control. The 2016 Dodge Viper ACR has 600 lbs/in front springs and 1300 lbs/in rear springs, which is double the TA Viper model's suspension rigidity.

The brand allows the customers to choose the 1 of 1 customization program, which brings over 25 million combinations to select from. 2016 Dodge Viper ACR became available to be bought in 2015’s third trimester.
