1997 McLaren F1 GT - be the most valuable car sold in the 90s!

This car was built in only 106 copies during 1992 and 1998. Thus, McLaren F1 could actually be the most valuable car sold in the 90s.

Why do you ask? Because it was the most modern supercar of that decade, lighter and stronger than any of its competitors. It was also the first car coming in a monocoque made completely out of carbon fiber, with a centered driver seat. This model is the only supercar in the world that has been produced for 12 consecutive years, generating lots of valuable concepts and versions.

The exterior measures of this supercar are length - 4928 mm, width - 1940 mm, height - 1200 mm.

The interior of the car is pretty much similar to the standard version - F1. The standard steering wheel was replaced with a sport one, this being kind of the main change in the cabin.

The power of F1 GT was generated by a V12 unit, with a capacity of 6.1 liters, coming from BMW. The power of this car reached 627 hp, which is impressive.

The car went from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 206 mph. The gearbox was manual, in 6 phases.

The original version of this supercar, F1 was sold for approximately 1 million dollars in the 90s, while the GTR cars have been bought for the excessive sum of 1,5 million dollars.

This value has considerably increased over the years, rumors saying that a copy of this model would bring over 6 to 10 million dollars to the seller's wallet. But don't hold your breath; just like any other limited version car, buying a McLaren F1 is a genuine challenge nowadays. After all, it is the rarest model in F1's history and the most powerful among its main competitors.
