Who Is Behind GTO Engineering's Project Moderna Exciting Look?

Recently, the UK-based Ferrari firm confirmed that they started the development of their promised GTO Engineering’s Project Moderna. The project is aimed at modernizing the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO.

So, the GTO Engineering’s Team stated that the project is developing with the approval of the fans and decided to publicly document the development process. So far, Project Moderna will be powered by a naturally-aspired quad-cam V12 engine paired to a manual transmission.

The chassis, situated in the GTO Engineering workshop, is a ‘muletto’ custom based on a traditional tubular chassis accompanied by lightweight high-strength aluminum subframes.

Soon, we’ll have more details about the outer body of Project Moderna, and finalizing the last specs. After that, the modeling process can begin. The right proportions are only one of the important purposes to follow, besides the weight distribution and ergonomics.

To prove the team’s attention to detail, they even thought of enlarging the cabin for both the passenger and the driver. And all the trouble simply because now, people appear to be taller than in the sixties. Quite a clever point.

Project Moderna will be eventually a project created with the engineers and fans and other interested parties involved in the process. GTO Engineering openly invited fans and specialists to build the most exciting car in the last decade.
