This Lada Is Designed To Handle Anything That Comes Its Way

A roll cage protects the occupant in the event of a rollover, mainly in racing. However, some Russians seek to redefine roll cage design. In this case, it's another Lada with a roll cage that lets the car flip over. We're talking about the guys from Garage54.

Just like every other Garage54 attempt, it's a strange device, but it definitely does seem fun. The Lada, first and foremost. The vehicle's wheelbase has been shortened, and the ground clearance has been increased, giving the Lada the appearance of a skinny coupe.

The inside has also been cleaned, leaving the driver with just the necessities, such as a seat with a harness, a steering wheel, and other electrical components. 

Speaking of the roll cage, they built one out of steel and placed it outside the car. The steel cage was intended specifically to flip the Lada into a full 360-degree forward roll. 

The team put in a lot of effort at first, manually flipping the Lada, before doing the real experiment. They were able to perform the trick after a few tries, driving to a high speed and quickly stopping to start the flip.
