Psst…Do You Fancy A Ride In This $28 Million Rolls Royce ‘Boat Tail’

Rolls Royce builds probably the most expensive car in the world and again they came up with an exquisite example and named it Boat Tail. It perfectly marks the brand’s coming back to the coachbuilding game full-time. Imagine there could be more since this is their first bespoke project.

The ‘Boat Tail’ name is inspired by the series of old and extremely rare Rollers from the late 1920s and early 1930s and this Rolls-Royce is an eye-catching convertible. Wait till we tell you about its modern part.  The modern part is a resemblance to modernism found in the one-off Sweptail coupe unveiled at Villa d’Este back in 2017.

The modern Sweptail was sold for a heavy $12.8 million price and was the most expensive new car in the world. Put it aside to the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail and it seems cheap, right. Now the luxurious convertible will become the most expensive new car dethroning other models like the $9.7 m Bugatti.

Rolls Royce already builds only three examples of the Boat Tails and each one is customized in terms of trim and materials to meet the customer’s demands. As you’ve guessed already, the automaker won’t make any other units just to keep their promise to the customers.  Imagine a collector who has an original 1932 Rolls Royce Boat Tail restored exposed along to a Rolls Royce Boat Tail.

Featuring the Architecture of a Luxury aluminum spaceframe platform, super-slim LED headlights, slimmer taillights, a center-hinged decklid to fully expose the best exterior sides. For the interior, they put two fridges and special cutlery and crockery set from Christofle, a decklid that lifts upwards it is two hosting suit components at 15 degrees, a country-picnic toolkit which includes a pair of carbon-fiber stools and a parasol.

Luxury, comfort, and the best of the best to make its owner feel like a king– the exact Rolls Royce style, right? Just take a look at how it's made. A very thorough process.
