Lexus arrives at the 2023 SEMA showroom, not with one, but three behemoths of luxury and performance. At the helm is the LX 600 Premium, transformed into an off-road titan decked out with the Lexus Associated Accessory Product (AAP) Build—a haven for paddle-boarding aficionados.

LX 600: A Paddle-Boarder's Paradise

Sporting an Aquamarine coat that mimics the shifting hues of the ocean, this LX 600 Premium is more than a mode of transport; it's a mobile base camp for aquatic adventures. Complemented by black chrome accents and a matte gray grille, it stands on robust 18-inch wheels with 33-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires. With an extendable awning and a Yakima EXO OpenRange Deluxe camp kitchen hitched at the back, it's ready to turn any shore into a gourmet beachside retreat.

GX 550: Earthy Elegance Meets Rugged Power

The Lexus GX 550 commands attention with its Earth brown and black dual-tone exterior. This beast is equipped for the rocky paths with 18-inch black wheels, protective rock rails, and an underbelly safeguarded by an aluminum skid plate. The practicality extends to its rear window panel, ready to carry your journey's essentials, from liquid containers to shovels, all secured under a roof rack complete with a ladder and recovery gear.

While the mechanics remain untouched, the 3.4-liter V6 engine continues to deliver a potent 350 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque, ensuring that performance is never in question.

GX 460: Vibrant and Versatile

The GX 460 Premium enters the fray wrapped in Matte Yellow Saffron, a beacon of vibrancy. This model doesn't just look the part; it's equipped with 18-inch wheels shod in 34-inch tires and reinforced with a front skid plate and rock sliders for uncompromising off-road ventures. At your destination, unwind with the Lexus in-house double hammock or rely on the portable air compressor and recovery kit to maintain the adventure.

The Next Chapter: Lexus GX 2024 Concept

Looking to the future, the SEMA show also gives us a glimpse of the upcoming GX 2024 Concept. Sporting a bolder, more rugged look and built on the robust GA-F platform, it promises a full-time four-wheel-drive system and a Torsen limited-slip center differential. With an eye on off-road supremacy, the Overtrail variants come equipped with a locking rear differential, underscoring Lexus's commitment to luxury that dares to venture off the beaten path.

As we await its arrival in 2024, details on pricing remain as anticipated as the vehicle itself. But one thing is certain: Lexus continues to push the boundaries, fusing luxury with the spirit of adventure.
