'Lamborghini Countach: Future Is Our Legacy' Exhibition Is Now Open At Art Basel Miami

Lamborghini has inaugurated its "Lamborghini Countach: Future Is Our Legacy" presentation at Art Basel Miami. The exhibit, which is on display at the Wolfsonian-FIU Museum, is a cooperative effort between the manufacturer and the Consulate General of Italy.

Its purpose is to demonstrate how Lamborghini is commemorating its history while forging ahead into an electric future. Guests are welcome to go around the exhibition, which has a black and gold 1986 Countach LP 5000 QV as its highlight, which follows the history of the legendary automobile from its inception to the contemporary day, culminating with images of the new Countach LPI 800-4.

The new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is Lamborghini's second electric model, following the Sian. It is part of Lamborghini's "Direzione Cor Tauri," which aims for 50% lower CO2 emissions and a completely hybridized range by 2025.

The latest Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, which is based on the Sian, was launched this summer to mark the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Countach. It is driven by a 769 hp V12 engine, which is aided by a 48-volt electric motor housed inside the transmission, which contributes an additional 34 hp for a combined output of 803 hp. The Countach LPI 800-4 can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 secs, 200 km/h (125 mph) in 8.6 secs, and achieve a peak speed of 355 km/h (220 mph), according to Lamborghini.

The exhibition "Lamborghini Countach: Future Is Our Legacy" will run through December 5, 2021, with the Countach LP 500 QV on display.
