In tribute to her beloved late husband, Ken Block, Lucy Block is set to take on the challenging Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2023. As a skilled rally driver registered with the American Rally Association, Lucy is ready to push her limits and honor her husband's legacy on the track.

On June 25th, Lucy and her daughter Lia will embark on an epic adventure up the mountain. Lia, a skilled pilot, will take the reins of the magnificent Hoonipigasus crafted by Ken for last year's Hill Climb. Meanwhile, Lucy will be racing her brand new Sierra Cars Echo EV, adorned in the sleek and stylish Block Edition livery. They will be competing in the top-spec Unlimited class, ready to conquer the mountain and leave their competitors in the dust.

Ken Block

The Sierra Echo EV is a rugged off-road machine that's been designed from the ground up, and it runs on pure electricity. Boasting a sturdy tube-frame chassis, a single seat, and an impressive long-travel suspension system, this beast is built to conquer any terrain and soar to new heights.

There are three battery packs, each holding 6.2 kWh, for a total of 18.6 kWh. With a Sadev gear reduction gearbox and high-performance RCV axles, the Echo EV is capable of 120 mph thanks to its electric motors' 300 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque at 12,000 rpm. Stopping power comes from Wilwood four-piston brake calipers and vented rotors.

Oh, there's more! The car has a sleek carbon fiber rear wing with the cool Hoonigan and Block House Racing logos. Plus, the design is really special because it commemorates Ken and even has his number 43 on the front in the form of the Forty-Three Institute's symbol. The side of Lucy's race car proudly displays the number 430.

Only seven of the Block Edition Echo EVs will be produced with the same specifications as Lucy's racing vehicle. The Block family will personally sign these cars, so they are not just any ordinary vehicles. And if you're lucky enough to snag one of the seven cars, you'll not only be cruising in style but also contributing to a good cause. The $43,000 raised will go towards the Forty-Three Institute (43i), helping to make racing dreams come true for those who may not have the means to do so.
