In 2022, Moto Guzzi will once again host the single-make Fast Endurance Trophy event. The Moto Guzzi V7 race-ready version will be featured in the fourth edition after the 2021 season saw no less than 30 teams on the line for each race.

The race-ready V7 was developed in collaboration with Guareschi Moto, an Italian Moto Guzzi dealer and custom shop. It has track-worthy parts including a headlamp cowl, a bespoke exhaust, a belly pan, Ohlins suspension, and license plates. Aside from the high-performance bolt-ons, each racing bike will be outfitted with Pirelli's Phantom Sportscomp RS tires, which were designed exclusively for the V7.

The organizers of the Fast Endurance Trophy have designed a specific category for the V7 with special equipment. Guareschi Moto has fine-tuned their GCourse racing outfit for maximum performance after years of racing in the Fast Endurance Trophy. Moto Guzzi debuted the latest-generation V7 in February 2021, featuring an 850cc transverse V-twin engine that produces 65 hp at 6,800 rpm and 53.8 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm.

Moto Guzzi On May 14-15, 2022, the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy season will begin with two 60-minute mini-endurance races at the Vallelunga circuit. On July 17, 2022, the FIM-sanctioned series will come to the Cremona track for the opening 90-minute race of the year. Two further 90-minute events will be held on August 28, 2022, at the iconic Mugello track, and on October 15, 2022, at the Misano World Circuit. On October 16, 2022, the Misano track will host the final round, which will include a 60-minute night race.

Each racer will compete in two 20-minute practice sessions for each race weekend, with the starting grid being determined by the results of these sessions. Individual team members are limited to 15-minute sessions on the track throughout each round. Teams are unable to refuel during pit breaks, which adds to the excitement of the contest. While Moto Guzzi anticipates more than 30 teams on the starting grid, only the top 15 finishers in each race will earn points for the series title.
