Tomorrow is the start of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and McMurtry Automotive is hoping to create an impression with the revolutionary Spéirling.

The company is keeping the vehicle's identity a secret, however, it has been described as a fully electric track car idea. Spéirling, according to McMurtry, “explores the path that unconstrained technical evolution would have gone from the golden age of racing to build today's motorsport.”

Although there isn't much to go on, the photos reveal an aggressive-looking coupe with a carbon fiber front bumper. I-shaped headlamps, vented wheel wells, and a central cockpit are also visible.

The Spéirling's racing style continues in profile, with a tall hood and low front overhang. Front fender vents, aerodynamic wheel covers, and a sloping roof with two fins have also been added to the vehicle.

A vented grille and a large diffuser are found in the back, revealing the V-shaped back underbody. Also, there are two radiators and four brake lights.

Although no performance figures have been released, McMurtry stated that their mission is to "create, engineer, and develop electric vehicles to challenge norms around the automobile industry." The firm went on to state that they envision a future in which cars are environmentally sustainable but yet provide a pleasurable driving experience.

The Spéirling is also a "demonstrator for technology that will benefit the future of mobility," according to McMurtry, as well as a potential glimpse into the future of motorsport. The brand also hinted that it might be the world's quickest electric automobile, although that has to be seen.
