BMW i4 Electric Sedan Challenges Tesla Model 3 With Its New Range Level

The production form of the BMW i4 was revealed at the carmaker's 2021 Media Day event. The new all-electric four-door coupe was scheduled to be close up to 85% of the last year's presented concept. The automaker kept his promise and we can now enjoy the technical specification and dream to drive it around the city.

BM i4 adopts the same front-end features as the iX model, with a grill-like pair that act as a cover for the car's sensors. This isn't a usual experimenting feature for its exterior design, opting only for the classic four-door coupe proportions. The exterior promotes sporty looks with a classy driving dynamic and zero local emissions.

The i4 Will become the brand's fully electric heart according to Pieter Nota, a member of the Board of the Management of BMW AG.  The high expectations towards this model. The biggest is the Drive 8 infotainment system with its redesigned interface, over-the-air updates, better safety, along with a 14.9-inch touchscreen display and the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Also, the i4 has a range of different power outputs, battery sizes that allow a driving range up to 366 miles in WLTP mode and up to 300 miles in EPA mode. The 300 plus miles, make the BMW a real opponent for Tesla Model 3. It's scheduled for the official launch later this year and the full list of tech specifications will be made published.
