After the official Bentley's announcement that this year they intend to send a GT3 to Pikes Peak to set another record, the automaker finally revealed photos and a few more details about its racer. The statement brings pictures of the specially modified GT3. Bentley wanted to introduce the "most extreme road-car-based Bentley ever," and we agree. This one is a powerful beast ready to conquer Colorado mountain.

But this year, Bentley teamed the fabulous GT3 Continental with Rhys Millen behind the wheel because the purpose is to set another record. A third one. The almighty Continental GT3 has 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with Cosworth engine management. The modified version, as stated before, this Bentley can perform an output of up to 557 horsepower sent to the rear wheels coupled to the Ricardo six-speed sequential gearbox with an AP racing clutch.

Bentley is testing the fuels blend you can guess that their intention is offering its customers gas reductions beyond 85 percent. This year the automaker got his modified racer running on renewable fuel the biofuel-based gasoline, to be exact. This Bentley's way of showing off their investigation program of biofuels and e-fuels program and the vision of a sustainable future genuinely blended with the past.

Since the trek is quite a hill to climb for any racer, the suspension resistance ensure by the carbon-fiber driveshaft, double-wishbone front and rear, and suspension, both - front and rear of the car- with four-way adjustable race dampers. Also, there's a carbon fiber front splitter and rear wing that increase the downforce but need to enlarge it just a little bit for the high-altitudes of Pikes Peak's successful climbing.

To ensure the best result at the 2021 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Bentley added new cooling air scoops. They replace the rear windows and the obligatory stopwatch on the roll cage, according to the book.  As mentioned previously, the competition will take place this summer, on June 27, in Colorado, U.S.
