2021 Skoda Kushaq Interior Design Sketches Revealed

Official design sketches for the Skoda Kushaq interior were released. The similarity between the crossover Kushaq - destined for the Indian market - has one similarity with Skoda Kamiq -  the dashboard panel with the central line running across its entire width.

The dashboard incorporates the freestanding 10-inches- infotainment and a section under it shaped to imitate the grille’s contour. Below the middle air vents, right above the HVAC, the same dashboard hosts a panel of buttons and two USB sockets.

The storage space in front of the gearshift lever could have a wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones. Next to it, there’s another storage space and a cup holder, as usual, near the handbrake lever. You immediately spot the orange accents to the dashboard, center console, and door cards. The seats have a two-tone upholstery with orange double stitching that completes the design.

Kushaq driver’s side reveals a multi-function two-spoke steering wheel and the digital instrument cluster. There are also controls for the electric windows, side mirrors, and door locks. Meanwhile, all the doors feature the same big cubbies for extra storage, two air vents mounted behind the front armrest for controlling the rear passenger’s compartment temperature.

So far, we know that the Skoda Kushaq is built on the VW Group’s MQB-A0-IN platform, specially adapted to the Indian market with two gasoline power units. The 1.0-1.5-liter TSI is coupled to six-speed manual / six-speed automatic / seven-speed DSG transmission and FWD drive to complete the engine lineup.

The crossover will premiere on March 18, but there’s no information about the approximate price.
