It’s no news that online configurator software but the Rivian Configurator has some interesting options.
On November 23, the company will allow reservation holders to configure their cars and recently, Sandy Munro was kind enough to teach us some secrets.
Besides choosing your favorite interior and exterior color or tires, this configurator allows us to configure a camping kitchen, induction cooktop, built-in sink, and a 4-gallon water tank pump, and bed in one cabin with a plentitude of choices.
For the kitchen options only you could end up paying $5,000 but compared to other campers, the R1T is the pure definition of comfort. For an additional $10,000 you can get The Max Pack larger battery pack which will give you an extra 400 miles on the EV truck.
The package delivery of the configurated Rivian is planned for 2022, but as you’ll learn from the video, you can opt for the Launched Edition, scheduled for June 2021.
