Currently, Porsche is more focused on bringing the past back to the future than building something new from scratch. They have so many iconic models that each new one will serve as inspiration for any new shown concept. Today let's talk about Slantnose Porsche 911 Turbo as a muse for a driving- teleportation in time experience. Is the $400,000 price tag worth for this Porche 911 Cabriolet?

The 911 Turbo Cabriolet already had an optioned Slantnose package option when he left the factory in 1988. Porsche manufactured at least 948 units of the Slantnose model and only 160 reached the US market. For the big sum of $50,000 in the late '80s, the package was available offering distinctive louvered fenders with pop-up headlamps, boxed rocker panels, rear-quarter panels vents, and a brand new horn button on the steering wheel. Don't laugh now, these were genuine high-class features, back in the late '80s.

Meanwhile, Turbo Slantnose sold now, features included Blaupunkt Reno radio, A limited-slip differential, both driver and passenger seats eight-way power-adjustable, an alarm system, a spare tire, air compressor, and all of its original books. You also get the Porsche authenticity certificate and serviced and fitted tires. So, you might drive it back home with pride and glory.

Being accustomed to the Californian sunny climate, the car's odometer shows only 3,454 miles (5,558 lm) in its entire "life". Also, the listed 911 Porsche is powered by the original turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six engine delivering an output of 282 horsepower and up to 377 Newton-meter of torque.

Both exterior and interior are in good condition despite that the car itself had several owners previously. The seller justifies the crazy request of $398,900 price for this Porshe 1988 Slantnose relying on its original pieces, authentification certificates, and, of course, the uniqueness on the market.
