When Your Backpack Becomes Your Bodyguard: Rezvani’s Wild New Take On Everyday Safety
by AutoExpert | 16 March, 2025
You know Rezvani, the folks who build those wild, armored tank-like SUVs that look like they came straight out of a superhero movie? Well, now they’ve taken a slightly different route… one that you can actually carry on your back.
Yep, they’ve made a bullet-resistant backpack. It was actually inspired by one of their own customers who, after a pretty scary attack, decided that an armored vehicle just wasn’t enough. So they went back to Rezvani and said, “Hey, can you turn my daily backpack into something that could actually protect me?”

That’s how this thing was born. From the outside, it’s pretty clean-looking, honestly—just a solid, minimal backpack with a Rezvani logo, some molle webbing, and a water bottle holder on the side. There’s even a throwback grommet hole that looks like it was made for old-school headphone cables. Bit of a time capsule moment there.

The real magic is on the inside. Tucked away in the top of the backpack is a fold-out ballistic shield—you pull two straps and bam, a bullet-resistant plate swings over your head. Another plate is built into the back panel, so you’ve got front and rear coverage in seconds. It’s like a superhero transformation.

Standard protection is NIJ Level 3A, which covers most common handgun rounds. It’s not going to stop a rifle round, but for day-to-day threats, it’s the level most people go for. If you want extra protection, you can swap the plates out for heavier-duty options. Rezvani left some wiggle room for that.

Price? $495, plus around $10 for shipping in the U.S., or $45 overseas. Throw in taxes, and you're looking at about $600 all in. It’s kind of fascinating, really. This backpack is something that’s surprisingly low-key, kind of cool-looking, and very “just in case.”
