Toronto Will Be Home To The 10th Porsche Experience Center

Porsche has announced the construction of its tenth Porsche Experience Center near Toronto, Canada. Following the development of PECs in Atlanta and Los Angeles, this will be the third in North America.

The PEC will be built on a 20-acre site at the Durham Live advancement, which will also include more than 400,000 sq ft (37,161 sq m) of commercial space, a casino, a concert hall, as well as a hotel with more than 300 rooms. It will be located in Pickering, Ontario, just 30 mins from the city of Toronto.

A 2-kilometer (1.2-mile) driving circuit will be part of Porsche's commitment to the development. The property will also feature a unique collection of cars on exhibit, a cafe, as well as a Porsche brand store. Porsche claims it will have electric charging facilities at the Experience Center. The property is also meant to be ecologically responsible in both construction and operation.

Designed to be a tourist destination, the first urban Porsche Experience Center will allow guests to experience the technologies incorporated in a Porsche car, regardless of whether they own one. Throughout the year, the manufacturer will have instructors on hand to provide expert advice through a variety of driving modules.

HOK, the firm behind the Dali museum in St Petersburg, Florida, La Guardia Airport's Terminal B, and the Porsche Cars of North America Atlanta Headquarters, built the complex. In 2024, the Porsche Experience Center Toronto is slated to open.
