You'd think that preserving a car's door as conventional and ordinary as possible is a good idea since this manner of opening has proven its efficacy over time.

However, there are cars out there that just don't want to keep things ordinary and bring us cool manners of opening the doors. To make it easier for you we made a list of the coolest car doors.

So without further ado, these are the coolest car doors we've ever seen. Let's check them out:

1)Butterfly doors' first seen on McLaren SLR V8, these doors are spectacular and are usually mistakenly with Lamborghini, which uses scissor doors.

2)Doors with incorporated seats' they have been seen for the first time on Peugeot EX1 Concept, which was an electric car.

3)Suicide doors - these doors open the opposite way than the normal ones do. The name comes from the times when wearing the seat belt wasn't mandatory and the accidental opening of these doors, while the car was moving, might have caused the passenger to fall out the car.

4)The frontal door - BMW Isetta brought this door into the world's attention, but it is neither practical nor good looking.

5)Sliding interior lateral doors - the exclusive Kaiser Darrin model is the most famous car with this kind of doors.

6)Sliding interior vertical doors' - BMW Z1 has sliding vertical doors.

7)Scissor/Lambo doors - it is Lamborghini who made these doors popular, often being confused with the butterfly doors.

8)Canopy doors - this kind of doors reminds us of a MIG.

9)Sliding doors - the only car working on sliding doors is Lincoln Mark VIII. We don't even want to imagine how difficult finding changing parts for these doors is.

10)Gullwing doors - these doors are connected to the car's body on the roof, the latter being especially projected to handle this weight. Mercedes-Benz SLS is one of the most famous models with these doors.
