Two new clocks from Tiffany & Co's Time for Speed Collection take their cues from the world of speedy automobiles. The two clocks, which take their design cues from 1950s racing cars, are mounted on rubber-tired stainless-steel rims.
A stainless steel panel on the model's side serves as a clock, with the time shown in increments of five minutes. The glass dome of great sophistication, located in the driver's seat, reveals the intricate mechanism that keeps the clock ticking.
A radiator-style grille emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co logo is just one of the clock's unique design elements. The time is adjusted by turning the three-spoked wheel in a counterclockwise direction. The clocks are mostly constructed of aluminum and painted in the signature Tiffany Blue color.
It weighs 10.3 pounds and has dimensions of 15.2 by 6.2 by 4.7 inches. There are now two distinct versions of the timepiece. One model retails for $40,000 on the company's website, while the other can be had for $215,000 due to its abundance of hand-set Tiffany & Co. round brilliant diamonds.
