Tesla Cybertruck Costs Surge: Entry-Level Model Discontinued, Top-Tier Now $119,990

Pricing for the Tesla Cybertruck has seen a significant increase, now starting at $99,990. The entry-level rear-wheel-drive model, previously priced at $60,990 and expected to launch in 2025, has been removed from the configurator.

Aside from that, the cost of the all-wheel-drive Cybertruck has risen from $79,990 to $99,990. Sadly, the predicted range has dropped from 340 miles to 318 miles. All other specifications remain the same.

According to Tesla, the 600-horsepower pickup can reach a peak speed of 112 miles per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. The top-tier model has also seen price increases, with the model now starting at $119,990. Even though its range decreased from a projected 320 miles to 301 miles, the price went up from $99,990.

The truck still boasts impressive features and performance capabilities. According to Tesla, the 845 horsepower Cyberbeast can reach 0–60 mph in 2.6 seconds. Additionally, the truck is capable of towing up to 4,990 lbs and reaching a maximum speed of 130 mph.

Despite the $20,000 price increase, you should know that the Cybertruck is only available in Foundation Series form. Even though Elon Musk had promised a pickup for $39,900, these "fully optioned" limited editions from Tesla are far from that.
