Rumors begin to circulate, and they're spreading fast. According to a recent source, BMW will soon release an homage in the shape of a limited-production car based on the M4 CSL with a revised exterior and a hefty price tag.

As a contemporary reimagining of the classic E9 CSL "Batmobile" from the 1970s, the yet-unnamed car might incorporate stylistic influences from the 2015 BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept. Despite retaining the same foundations and overall dimensions as the M4 CSL, the limited-production vehicle's external design will feature new carbon-fiber panels and more aggressive aerodynamic parts.

M4 CSL

The M4's twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine will be tweaked in the M4 CSL, resulting in a maximum output of 600 horsepower and 516.3 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox will transfer power to the vehicle's rear wheels.

Additionally, the two-door coupe is said to have a more track-oriented chassis arrangement. 0-62 mph is predicted to take roughly 3.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of more than 186 mph. The final target weight should be around 3,417 pounds.

M4 CSL

At over €600,000 ($633,672), the customized BMW M will be constructed in a limited number of 50 cars.
Compared to the standard M4 CSL, this model costs three times as much. While the price is high, the model's custom body and uniqueness will certainly increase its value over time.
