The Honor Magic V2, one of the thinnest and most advanced foldable smartphones in the world, has been given a unique appearance by Porsche Design. This new variant is known as the RSR and is a continuation of the standard model's hardware perfection with some unique styling features.

After its initial launch in China last month, the Honor Magic V2 RSR will also be available in other markets by the end of this year.

The aerodynamic hood of a Porsche 911 served as inspiration for the "flyline," a hand-made design element in the Porsche design studio, which now distinguishes the RSR's new shell. Meanwhile, the back of the Honor Magic V2 RSR is covered with Agate Grey, which is a color from Porsche’s color palette. It has a dark titanium frame and a trapezoidal redesign.

Each Magic V2 RSR you buy comes with a case and a stylus. It's got plenty of storage, too. The Honor Magic V2 RSR has been upgraded with 1TB of storage, which is an increase from 512 GB. And let's not forget that it now has an industry-first Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield to improve scratch resistance. Despite all these changes, the RSR's weight of only 235 grams is unrivaled among its competitors!

Stefan Buescher, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Lifestyle Group, was delighted about the partnership and the two companies' shared ambition of integrating Porsche values and principles into consumer products. Their aim is to create the experience of a Porsche by mixing the latest technology with innovative design.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and 16 GB of RAM power a Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR. The two screens are the 7.92-inch foldable OLED screen and the 6.43-inch exterior OLED display. Specifically, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 20-megapixel telephoto camera. The camera setup is just as impressive. In China, the Magic V2 RSR smartphone is priced at 15,999 yuan (~$2,200).
