Playmobil's Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Safari Hits The Shelves

Playmobil has something fresh in store for toy vehicle fans, specifically those who love Porsches. The new Porsche 911 Dakar and the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Offroad Package are both set to be released in April.

But this one takes its cues from the legendary Porsches that raced in the most severe events of the 1960s and 1970s. The ensemble is completed with a driver whose racing suit matches the livery of the 911, and the colors used are an era-appropriate mix of green and orange.

With dimensions of 264x110x95 mm, or 10.4 by 4.33 by 3.74 inches, the Porsche 911 Carrera RS toy is quite big. A detachable roof rack and roof are standard features. Meanwhile, a petrol can and spare tire are secured to its roof rack using silicon straps. The package also includes a shovel, a rescue board, and a mound of rocks in case the Porsche gets stuck in the mud.
