Southern Brooklyn has a notorious four-wheeled menace cruising its streets. An Audi A6 with license plate LCM8254 has earned the dubious honor of being New York City's most-ticketed vehicle, racking up a jaw-dropping 563 tickets in 2024 alone.

The black Audi has become legendary in traffic violation circles, with a lifetime total of 968 tickets—950 just for speeding. The owner has already shelled out over $46,000 in fines, with more piling up in 2025. On one particularly busy Sunday, the car managed to trigger speed cameras seven times, adding another $350 to its impressive tab.

Streetsblog first identified this speed demon as the city's worst offender, but a check with How's My Driving NY reveals the problem stretches back years with no signs of slowing down.

While NYC's automated speed cameras are notoriously strict—they'll snap photos of anyone going more than 10 mph over the limit—most drivers learn to adjust their behavior after a ticket or two. This Audi driver apparently prefers paying thousands in fines rather than easing off the gas pedal.

Of the vehicle's lifetime $58,149.57 in accumulated fines, the owner has paid $46,636.60 and is only disputing $3,530.63. This makes sense given how difficult it is to fight camera tickets in New York—most people just pay up and drive more carefully next time. This driver, however, seems to have only mastered the "paying" part.

Residents of Coney Island and Sheepshead Bay might want to keep an eye out for this notorious Audi. Somewhere in their neighborhood, the city's most ticketed driver continues their expensive speeding habit with no end in sight.
