Mercedes Unveils €1,999 Stroller Lineup With Vegan Leather And AMG Details

Well, here’s something nobody had on their bingo card: Mercedes has entered the baby stroller game. The company teamed up with German stroller specialist Hartan and rolled out four models—the Performance, Avantgarde, All-Terrain, and the surprisingly sporty Mercedes-AMG GT2.
The Performance model comes with a Quick-Fix safety harness and a bassinet with an adjustable backrest. The Avantgarde adds a telescopic handlebar, which is a small but genuinely useful upgrade for parents of different heights.

The All-Terrain Mercedes stroller version gets chunkier tires for rougher paths and even includes a handbrake. All three are wrapped in vegan leatherette and available in five shades: Rubellite, Opalite, Tartufo, Vintage Blue, and Verde Silver.

Then there’s the Mercedes-AMG GT2 stroller—the compact one that folds easily into a car trunk. It even gets little cross-spoke AMG wheels and cognac-colored detailing, including stitching and an embroidered AMG badge on the sun visor. It’s as close as you’re getting to pushing a track car around a park.

All four strollers come with adjustable suspension and a Bag2Go accessory that clips onto the handlebars. For those parents who want to go full luxury, Mercedes will even sell you stroller gloves to keep your hands warm. Depending on the market, prices start around €1,599 ($1,800) and go up to €1,999 ($2,300).
